All roll themes come with default palettes to choose from.
To customize the colors used in your roll:
- Enter edit mode by selecting the pencil icon in the upper-left corner. You can edit your roll in “Live Mode”, if you want your audience to see changes instantaneously. Alternatively, you can edit in “Draft Mode” to edit privately and publish when you’re done.
- Select “colors” from the edit menu.
To begin, choose one of the existing palettes..
You will see the set of colors this palette uses for its theme.
Clicking on any of these colors will bring up the color details, which shows:
- The color
- A second color used for contrast
- A description of what parts of the roll are affected by this color pair.
Note: This description may not include every affected element. The best way to see each color’s effect is to review your roll after making a color change.
3. Click on the left-hand color in the pair to open the color selector. As you adjust this color in the palette, it will be changed in the roll immediately. However, you may not necessarily be viewing a place in your roll where this color is used.
- When you’ve made your selection, choose ‘apply’.
Your customized palette will be saved in this roll.
You can create one custom palette for each theme within a roll, but only the current theme’s custom palette will be available.
Note: You can always switch back to one of the roll’s original palettes.
